Simply put, when I wanted to build the APK of my Cordova project using the “build.bat” file located in the Cordova folder, I was told that the build process failed and the problem was “transformClassesWithDexForDebug”.

I’ve been googling this issue for a long time and all the fixes people have suggested don’t work, most involve putting something in the build.gradle file, but since there are two, choose one. One in the home directory and the other in the CordovaLib folder….

I just recently started using Cordova and thank you very much for any guidance.

Solution

I found a solution
I wrote in node cmd:
java -version (see my java version)
He told me my Java version was 1.8, but it was weird because when I tried to build my application, he told me that JAVA_HOME was 1.7.
So I checked and there is Java 1.7 in the program file and Java 1.8 (x86) in the program file
I just changed it in my Windows environment variable, reloaded node cmd, and now it works.
