Linux – How does WebSphere MQ/Message Broker perform under Linux?

How does WebSphere MQ/Message Broker perform under Linux?… here is a solution to the problem.

How does WebSphere MQ/Message Broker perform under Linux?

My company is considering migrating from Solaris to Linux, but some concerns have been raised about how WebSphere MQ and Message Broker perform on RHEL. IBM’s support is also a concern. Does anyone have experience using these tools in this environment?

Thank you.

Solution

I have a lot of experience with WMQ and WMB on Linux and even z\Linux, including RHEL and SuSE. Both behave well. IBM’s performance paper is a good place to start, but note that testing in the message broker is conducted using small messages and a very simple process.

From an administrative point of view, they are no different from UNIX.
