Linux – Redis FLUSHALL reserves 2 keys named ‘processes’ and ‘domain.com:port:hash’

Redis FLUSHALL reserves 2 keys named ‘processes’ and ‘domain.com:port:hash’… here is a solution to the problem.

Redis FLUSHALL reserves 2 keys named ‘processes’ and ‘domain.com:port:hash’

I use RubyOnRails as the basis for my online store and redis client library gems. After my hosting provider raised the alert, I decided to secure Redis and flush the entire database to rerun the cache etc.

But strange things happen to me, because after running :

127.0.0.1:6379> FLUSHALL
Okay

Then check the existing key:, which I got

127.0.0.1:6379> key *
1) "Process"
2) "mydomain.com:5digitport:strangehash"

I’m not a Redis expert, but something went wrong with my Redis instance.
Has anyone encountered this issue and how should I fix it?

Solution

Your app (or another app) is still connecting to Redis and writing keys. CHECK YOUR CLIENT LIST OR NETSTAT CONNECTION.
