When your next weapon attack hits a creature before the spell ends, it will emit a strong light and deal an additional 3d8 points of light damage to the target. In addition, the target must make a Constitution save. If the save fails, it falls blind until the spell ends.

A creature affected by the blind effect of the spell can make another Constitution save at the end of each round. If the save is successful, the blind state ends.
