Calm Emotions 5e Spells

Level: 2

Casting time: 1 Action

Range: 60 feet

Components: V, S

Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute

You try to suppress the strong emotions of a group of people. Specify a point within the cast range and force each humanoid within a 20-foot radius around the point to make a charm save.

The subject can voluntarily waive the exemption. For those who fail to save, you will choose one of the following two effects to take effect.

You can choose to suppress any effects that charm or panic the target. When the spell ends, if the duration of the suppressed effect is not over, the effect continues to take effect.

Or, you can choose to make the target change its attitude towards a creature you specify, from hostility to indifference.

If the target is attacked, or affected by harmful spells, or if its allies are found to be damaged, the effect ends.

When the spell ends, unless the DM decides otherwise, the target’s attitude returns to hostility.
