Those who fail the save will take 8d8 points of freezing damage, and if the save is successful, the damage will be halved.

The creature killed by this spell will become a frozen statue until it is unfrozen.

Ascending ring cast effect. When casting this spell using a 6th-level or higher spell slot, each time you use a spell slot higher than the 5th ring, the spell damage is increased by 1d8.
