When your next weapon attack hits a creature before the spell ends, a twisted spiny vine will appear at the attack and force the target to make a power save.

The loser of the save will be affected by the magic vine and become trapped until The spell ends.

Large or larger creatures have an advantage when making this save. If the save is successful, the vine will immediately wither.

Targets bound by this spell take 1d6 points of puncture damage at the beginning of each round.

The bound creature or other creature that can reach the target can make a power check against the spell save DC with one action. If the check succeeds, the target is freed.

Ascending ring cast effect. When casting this spell with a 2nd-level or higher spell slot, the damage you increase by 1d6 for each spell slot you use is 1 ring higher than the 1st.
