Etherealness 5e

You enter the overlapping space between the current plane and the edge of the etheric plane.

Etherealness

  • Level: 7
  • Casting time: 1 Action
  • Range: Self
  • Components: V, S
  • Duration: Up to 8 hours

You can stay on the edge of the ether for the duration of the spell, or you can use the action to release the spell.

At this point you can move in any direction. If you move up or down, you need to consume an additional foot of moving power for each foot distance you move.

You can see and hear your original plane, but everything is displayed in grayscale, and you can’t see anything 60 feet away.

In the etheric plane, only other creatures in the etheric plane can be influenced or influenced by you.

Creatures that are not in the etheric plane cannot perceive you or interact with you unless they have corresponding special abilities or magic.

You will ignore all objects and effects that are not in the etheric plane, which allows you to traverse the original plane objects you can see.

When the spell ends, you immediately return to the original plane, occupying the current space position.

If you already have a solid object or a creature in your position, you are immediately transferred to the nearest unoccupied space position that you can occupy, and take twice as much force as you move.

If you are in the etheric plane, or the plane is not connected to the etheric plane (such as an outer plane), the spell has no effect.

Ascending ring cast effect. When casting this spell using an 8th-level or higher spell slot, you can designate three more voluntary creatures as spell targets (including you) for each spell slot you use is one ring higher than the 7th. These creatures must be within 10 feet of you when you cast a spell.
