Thin flames surround your body for the duration of the spell, emitting bright light in a radius of 10 feet, and shimmering light 10 feet outside the range. You can dismiss the effect and terminate the spell in an early action
You choose the flame to generate a warm shield or cold shield. The warm shield will provide you with resistance to cold damage, and the cold shield provides resistance to fire damage.
In addition, when any creature launches a melee attack on you within 5 feet of you, the shield will burst into flames, the warm shield will cause 2d8 points of fire damage to the attacker, and the cold shield will cause 2d8 points of fire damage to the attacker. Some freeze damage.
