Flesh to Stone 5e

You try to turn a creature you can see within the cast range into a stone. If the target’s body is made of flesh and blood, it must make a Constitution save.

Flesh to Stone

  • Level: 6
  • Casting time: 1 Action
  • Range: 60 feet
  • Components: V,S,M
  • Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute

The flesh of the defeated saver will become blunt and thus bound. Successful saves will not be affected by this effect.

Creatures bound by this spell must make another Constitution save at the end of each round. After a total of three successful saves, the spell ends.

After a total of three failed saves, the creature turns into stone and is considered to be in a petrified state for the duration.

A successful or failed test need not be continuous; as long as the number of events is recorded until one of them accumulates three times.

If the creature is destroyed by the petrified body, it will suffer the same damage when it is restored to its original form.

If you are maintaining the focus for the longest duration of the spell, the creature’s effect of turning into stone will remain until it is removed.
