You can release the command and terminate the spell with an action. Spells such as remove curse, greater restoration or wish wish can also terminate the spell.
Ascending ring cast effect. When casting this spell using the 7th or 8th ring spell slot, the duration becomes 1 year. When the spell is cast using a 9th-level spell slot, the spell will continue until it is terminated by the spell mentioned above.
