Any spells of 5th order or lower that are cast outside the barrier cannot affect the creatures or objects within them.
These spells cannot be cast beyond this limit even when cast as an ascending spell. These spells can target creatures or objects inside the barrier, but they cannot take effect on them. Its effect is like the area within the barrier is excluded from the spell effect.
Ascending ring cast effect. When you cast a spell with a 7th-level or higher spell slot, each time you use a spell slot that is one ring higher than the 6th ring, the spell that the barrier can block is one ring higher.
