JFrame got stuck in some weird internal deadlocks when opened
I have a test that opens a JFrame on failure and shows me some debug information. It usually works just fine, but now I’m suddenly having a weird impasse.

No other threads contain any of my code. Even if it had, I couldn’t see how it could cause a deadlock there.
The logviewer component uses only primitives and primitive collections and normal swing components: JComboBox, JTextField, JPanel, JCheckBox

Anyway, just in case some poor lost soul stumbles upon something similar in the future:
Threre doesn’t actually have a deadlock. This is caused by the following reasons:
1) There are a large number of events inside the logviewer component and it takes quite a long time to open it
2) An ubuntu glitch I encountered caused the jframe to be completely invisible
