Specify a point on the ground within the cast range that you can see, and create a cylindrical magic energy of 10 feet radius and 20 feet height there. On the ground or other plane carrying the energy column, flashing runes will appear.

Specify one or more of the following creature types: Celestial creatures, elemental creatures, fine creatures, demons, undead creatures. The magic circle will have the following effects on the specified type of creature:

· Such creatures cannot enter the columnar area by non-magical means. If this type of creature attempts to enter this area using teleport or plane travel, it must first make a charm save to determine its success.

· This type of creature has a disadvantage when attacking creatures in the columnar area.

· The targets in the column area are not charmed, panic or possessed by such creatures.

When casting this spell, you can choose to let the magic act in the opposite direction to prevent certain types of creatures from leaving the column area to protect targets outside the area.

Ascending ring cast effect. When casting this spell using a 4th-level or higher spell slot, the spell duration increases by 1 hour each time you use a spell slot higher than the 3rd ring.
