Plane Shift 5e

You stand hand-in-hand with up to eight voluntary creatures in a circle and then be teleported to a different plane of existence. You can generally name a destination (such as the brass city on the Elemental Plane of Fire, or Despat’s palace on the second floor of the nine-story hell), and then you will appear at or near the destination. Suppose you want to reach Brass City, according to DM’s judgment, you may teleport to its steel avenue, or to its Ash Gate, or face the city across the sea of flames.

Plane Shift

  • Level: 7
  • Casting time: 1 Action
  • Range: Touch
  • Components: V, S, M
  • Duration: Instantaneous

In addition, if you know the imprint sequence of a teleporting circle on another plane, the spell can take you to that circle. If the teleportation circle is too small to fit all the creatures you teleport, they will appear in the unoccupied space closest to the teleportation circle.

You can use this spell to banish an involuntary creature to another plane. Specify a creature you touch and make a melee spell attack on it. Upon hit, this creature must make a charm save. Those who fail to save will be teleported to a random location on your designated plane. Creatures transported in this way must find their own way back to your current plane.
