Java – Cell broadcast support on Android?

Does anyone know if cell broadcast on Android?
If yes, can anyone point to any examples that show how to use it? (e.g. receiving messages on some channels).

There are a lot of sites about this on Google…

I think there are restrictions in some countries – e.g. Brazil will only allow you to use channel 50 (according to my reading).
