Java – Why can’t I install the Android SDK?

Why can’t I install the Android SDK?… here is a solution to the problem.

Why can’t I install the Android SDK?

I installed the Android SDK. When I click on the Android SDK Manager. Then the following error message is displayed in the warning box

Failed to fetch URL
https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/repository/repository.xml ,
reason:
sun. Security. Validator. ValidatorException:
PKIX path validation failed:
java.security.cert.certPathValidatorException:
timestamp check failed

Please help me solve the problem.

Solution

The certificate for this site seems to be valid to me. You should check your system’s date and time settings and possibly correct them. If that doesn’t work, you can try using a non-SSL connection from http://, like Kenny already mentioned in his review.
