Call Lightning 5e Spells

Level: 3

Casting time: 1 Action

Range: 120 feet

Components: V, S

Duration: Concentration, up to 10 minutes

You specify a visible point above 100 feet high above your head, and create a cylindrical thundercloud area 10 feet high and 60 feet in radius there.

If you can’t see where the thunderclouds might be in the sky, the spell fails (for example, when you are in a room that is not high enough).

When casting, specify a point you can see within the casting distance. Then a beam of lightning shot from the cloud towards the point.

Creatures within 5 feet of that point must make an agility save. Those who fail the save will take 3d10 points of lightning damage, and if the save is successful, the damage will be halved.

Until the spell ends, you can use your actions to fire lightning again during your turn, and specify the same point or choose another point before attacking.

If you are in an outdoor stormy environment while casting a spell, this spell allows you to control the storm clouds in the air instead of creating a new thundercloud. And spell damage increased by 1d10.

Ascending ring cast effect. When casting this spell with a 4th-level or higher spell slot, each time you use a spell slot higher than the 3rd ring, the spell’s damage is increased by 1d10.
