Delayed Blast Fireball 5e

A beam of yellow light shoots from your fingertip to a point you specify within the cast range, and condenses into a crimson bead at that point for the duration of the spell.

Delayed Blast Fireball

  • Level: 7
  • Casting time: 1 Action
  • Range: 150 feet
  • Components: V, S, M
  • Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute

When the spell is terminated due to interruption of concentration or autonomous decision, the beads will burst into low flames with a low roar and spread around the corner.

At this point, each creature within a 20-foot radius around the target point must make an agility save.

Those who fail the save will take all the accumulated fire damage, and if the save is successful, the damage is halved.

The base damage of this spell is 12d6. If you have not detonated the bead by the end of the turn, its damage is increased by 1d6.

If the bead is touched by a creature before it explodes, the creature must make an agility save.

If the save fails, the spell ends immediately and triggers an explosion effect. If the save is successful, the creature can throw the beads up to 40 feet.

When the bead is hit by a creature or solid object, the spell ends immediately and triggers an explosive effect.

Flammable items that are not carried by clothing in the flame damage area will be ignited by flames.

Ascending ring cast effect. When casting this spell with an 8th-level or higher spell slot, the base damage is increased by 1d6 each time you use a spell slot higher than the 7th ring.
