Dimension Door 5e

You teleport yourself from your current location to any location within the cast range, and reach that destination accurately.

Dimension Door

  • Level: 4
  • Casting time: 1 Action
  • Range: 500 feet
  • Components: V
  • Duration: Instantaneous

The destination of the spell can be an imaginable location that you can see, or a location described by distance and direction, such as “200 feet straight down” and “300 feet 45 degrees northwest.”

When teleporting, your carry-on objects cannot exceed your weight. You can also bring a voluntary creature with a size that is no bigger than you, and his carry-on objects cannot exceed their weight. The creature must be within 5 feet of you when you cast.

If your destination is already occupied by creatures or objects, you and any creatures you teleport with will take 4d6 points of field damage and the spell teleport fails.
