Project Image 5e

You create an illusionary bilocation of yourself and cause it to maintain its presence for the duration of the spell. The bilocation can appear anywhere you have seen it within casting distance, regardless of whether there are obstacles in between.

Project Image 5e

Level: 7th

Classes: Bard, Wizard

Casting Time: 1 Action

Range: 500 miles

Components: V, S, M

Duration: Concentration, up to 24 hours

The illusion looks and sounds just like you, but without a real body. The illusion immediately disappears and ends the spell when it takes damage.

You may move the apparition up to twice as many feet as your speed with your actions, and its posture, speech, and behavior are all as you specify. In addition, the illusion can perfectly mimic your mannerisms.

You can see through your splitter’s eyes and listen with your splitter’s ears, as if you were in its place. You can switch between your senses and those of the avatar on your turn with an attached action. When you’re using your bilocation’s senses, you’re blind and deaf to what’s around you.

Since the illusion cannot be touched, any physical interaction with the illusion reveals its illusory nature. When a creature investigates an illusion with its actions, it can make an Intelligence (Investigation) check against the spell immunity DC to determine whether to see through the illusion. A creature that recognizes an illusion can see through the image, and the sound it produces appears false to the creature.
