Seeming 5e

This spell allows you to modify the appearance of any number of creatures you can see within casting distance. You grant a false new appearance to each designated target creature separately. Targets that do not wish to be affected by the spell may make one Charisma immunity, and a successful immunity leaves them unaffected by the spell.

Seeming 5e

Level: 5th

Classes: Bard, Wizard, Sorcerer

Casting Time: 1 Action

Range: 30 feet

Components: V, S

Duration: 8 hours

The spell changes the creature’s physical appearance, as well as disguises clothing, armor, weapons, and equipment. To the naked eye, the target can gain or lose 1 foot in height, and can be fat, thin, or symmetrical in body shape. However, you cannot change the shape of the body, so the target’s deformed appearance must have limbs or similar physical structures.

In addition, you can change other cosmetic features at will. The spell lasts until the end of its duration, but you can remove it early with an action.

The changes produced by this spell cannot cope with physical checks. For example, if you add a hat with this spell, a real object will pass through the hat, and the person touching the hat will not be able to touch anything or the target’s head or hair. If you use the spell to make the target thin, it will look like someone else is touching the target with their hand when they touch the target with their air.

A creature can use its action to closely observe a target and make an Intelligence (Investigation) check against the spell’s immunity DC to. A successful check results in the observer realizing that the target is camouflaged.
