Frequently topics on d&d 5e Alarm

1. Set an alarm and turn off dnd so I can agressively ft you after your alarm goes off then you’ll wake up

2. I have a query: do I forgo taking Leomund’s Tiny Hut for a bit, and instead take Summon Lesser Demons? The demons are more flavor, but the Hut could be useful, but I do have a dnd 5e alarm that should be good enough to start with if we find suitable resting spots.

3. If your Character has a kid, consider taking the d&d 5e Alarm spell.

4. Barbarian: ok, I have a plan

Rogue: this oughta be good

Barbarian: we run in, kill guards

Wizard: but they’ll set off the alarm

Barbarian: yes, so all the guards come to us, make it easier to kill if all in one place

Wizard: that’s a terrible plan

Rogue: …i love it

How does the Alarm work?

In dnd 5e, you set an alarm for uninvited guests. Specify a door or window within the cast distance or select a cubic area with sides no longer than 20 feet. During the spell’s duration, any tiny or larger creature that touches or enters the target area will trigger an alarm.

When casting the alarm 5e spell, you can decide which creatures will not trigger an alarm, and you can choose whether the alarm method is audible or mental.

If you choose a mental alarm and you are within 1 mile of the target area when the alarm is triggered, a “ping” alarm sound will be heard from your mind. If you are sleeping, the alarm will wake you up.

If you select an audible alarm, the alarm will sound within 60 feet and it will ring for 10 seconds when the alarm is triggered.
