A creature you touch recovers a certain amount of health and its recovery is equal to 1d8 + your cast key attribute adjustment value. This cure wounds 5e spell has no effect on undead and constructing creatures.

At Higher Levels

When casting this dnd 5e cure wounds spell using a 2nd-level or higher spell slot, each time you use a spell slot higher than 1st ring, the number of recovery increases by 1d8.

6. None of my characters have died yet. Been close a couple of times. Once at level 1. Got surprised attacked by a ghoul, critted, and one hit KO’d. Luckily one of my other party members had cure wounds.
